Breathing Secrets

Confess, the breathing in my ear,
not just the breath,
but the meaning within
that you will never openly avow,
and hold furtive with mute whispers
appropriate notions only for oneirism.
Remember later that my ear,
in tune with your breath,
seeking soothe
never coming voiced candid,
surmised the honey of regard.
